The Women Parliamentary Caucus was established in 1996 with the aim of addressing women’s issues across party lines.

The primary objective of the Caucus is to serve as a forum through which women MP’s can liaise with women’s groups and activists to advance the cause of women, and to ensure that legislation passed are gender sensitive.

Stakeholders working in collaboration with the Caucus include:

♦ Friedrich-Ebert Stiftung (FES)
