From Independence Avenue

Follow Independence Avenue toward the Zoo park.

Continue to the four way intersection at the corner of Independance Avenue and Fidel Castro.

At the traffic lights turn left into Fidel Castro Street.

Proceed untill traffic circle at Christuskirche.

Turn left at the circle into Robert Mugabe Avenue.

Make use of parking available in Robert Mugabe Avenue infront of Parliament or enter garden yard via Love Street . 



What visitors need to be aware of before visiting Parliament


Where do I park?

Parking is available around the Parliament building, feel free to park at any available marked parking space except at those that bear names or are reserved.

How long before the scheduled time of the tour should I arrive?

You are expected to be on time as there may be other visitors who booked their tours as well. Please, arrive 10 to 15 minutes earlier.

What must I bring along to facilitate access to the Parliamentary grounds?

• If your tour was booked in advance, you may bring a copy of the approval letter (adhere to prescribed visiting times).
• Communicate cancellations or postponements of your visit in advance.

What must I bring along as proof that the tour was confirmed?

You may bring a copy of the approval letter. If your tour was confirmed telephonically, you do not need to bring anything as we have already entered you into our daily visitor’s schedule.

What must I do with my bags?

You are requested to leave excess bags in your car. Hand bags and small bags are allowed, provided they pass through security checks. Also, you may bring a pen and a notepad.

What items are not allowed into the Parliamentary buildings?

Sharp objects, guns, knives, etc. All weapons are not allowed in the Parliament premises! You may bring your camera so that you can take memorable pictures inside Parliament.

Are refreshments on sale at Parliament?

The Parliament Restaurant is located inside the building and refreshments can be bought there.
