TABLE OFFICE
The National Council's Table Office provides vital procedural and secretarial support services to the Chamber, Members and Committees. These services include:
* Rendering assistance and advice concerning procedures and other matters in the Chamber.
* Preparing Minutes of Proceedings and Order Papers on a daily basis during sittings of the National Council.
*Processing of the Motions tabled in the National Council by Members.
*Receiving and processing new bills from the National Assembly and scheduling them for introduction before the National Council.
* Preparing Chairperson's reports on bills considered by the National Council.
* Keeping and maintaining a Bill Register for the National Council.
* Maintaining up-to-date records of the work of the Chamber.
* Conducting research on Parliamentary practices and procedures.
* Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the Secretary.
