SADCOPAC Meetings 13 – 21 September 2018

 
 

The Parliament of Namibia will host the Southern Africa Development Community Organisation of Public Accounts Committee (SADCOPAC) meetings and training from the 13 to 21 September 2018 at Swakopmund, Namibia.

SADCOPAC is an organization charged with the responsibility of empowering Members of Parliament in member states to effectively carry out their functions of oversight over public sector finances as well as promoting good governance in the region. Over a 100 delegates are expected to attend.

The National Council will resume business on Monday, 6th August 2018 to review the following Bills that were passed and referred by the National Assembly:

  • Seed and Seed Varieties Bill [B.1-2018];
  • Pharmacy Amendment Bill [B.5-2018];
  • Medical and Dental Amendment Bill [B.6-2018];
  • Allied Health Professions Amendment Bill [B.7-2018];
  • Social Work and Psychology Amendment Bill [B.8-2018]; and
  • Nursing Amendment Bill [B.9-2018].
